The Social Justice Initiative Student Summer Institute consists of a six-week course, an education and experiential learning program for ten UIC undergraduates focused on deepening their understanding of social justice issues in Chicago. Students read, discuss and collectively develop a social justice project that can educate and energize the larger community.
